A&K Construction Renovation from Hanover Park came to Mt Prospect to repair the multiple cracks that formed over the exterior DryVit of my home. I would first like to make a small list explaining why I recommend A&K Construction and why I couldn't be more happier with their work. 1) professional/friendly 2) timely 3) patient when listening to questions 4) thorough 5) super clean and tidy 6) reasonable pricing Konrad was absolutely professional and called me right away about my request for his company's service. Despite his busy schedule he was able to fit my exterior repairs before the temperature dropped which I am so appreciative. First we set an appointment up so he could visually access the exterior of my home, give an estimate, and then set a date for repair. When that date came up, we reviewed what needed to be done and he asked if I had any questions. I pointed out that I located a few more small cracks on the outside of my home and Konrad was absolutely fine with fixing them without having to charge extra. He also re-inspected the house and checked other areas outside that would have been difficult for me to view. He took pictures of areas that had the potential for water damage and cracking and then explained why. He also took "after" pictures once the job was completed. After fixing the cracks he had the Dryvit professionally color matched. Unfortunately I did not know the original name of the paint color and who manufactured it. In my opinion I thought it was a great color match. I was also delighted that at the end of each visit, Konrad and dad made sure the work site was clean and swept. All the work that they had performed on my home gave me the impression that they take pride in what they do and what it amounts to is quality. I would never hesitate to call them again.
